Ashwin Agarwal is a programmer, multimedia artist, and creative technologist, based in Brooklyn, NY. He received his B.S. from Stanford University (‘19) in Computer Science, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction.
His work consists of installations, interventions, software hacks, and creative coding. His research interests span social computing, public space, systems-thinking, and digital expression. He explores the artistic repurposing of technology as a way of reframing how we think about and interact with the digital realm.
Most recently, he worked as a creative technologist at Local Projects, an exhibit design studio, where he helped develop both the backend systems and frontend interfaces for interactive installations at a variety of museums and cultural institutions.
